This blog is devoted to our Thoroughbred
racehorses, currently Ellie ("Found Her"), our eight year old broodmare, and Papa ("Who's
Your Papa"), Ellie's first foal by stallion "Highland Gold", born April 28, 2006.
Ellie was bred by Florida Breeder John Franks, by All Gone (by Fappiano)
out of Andy's Find (by Buckfinder). Highland Gold is by Slew O'
Gold (by Seattle Slew) out of Whitesburg Express (by Whitesburg). Ellie is now pregnant by "Under Caution", and is expecting her second foal next April 2009. "Under Caution" is Kentucky bred, by A.P. Indy (by Seattle Slew) out of Coldheartedcat (by Storm Cat) with "Secretariat" in both his dam and sire lines. Papa, our two year old gelding shown below, is now in training at a breeding/training farm in Northern California. |
